I build things—sometimes in code, but mostly by hand.
By day, I work as a principal technical architect in Minneapolis, designing complex systems and solving abstract problems. But my deepest creative passion lives in the physical world. For me, the ultimate goal of any design, calculation, or digital render is the moment it becomes something real that you can hold, touch, or put to use.
My work spans fine sculpture, product design, woodworking, tool restoration, and digital fabrication. Whether I’m sculpting a piece like ROOSTER! – recently selected for the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition – designing functional objects like custom camera mounts and hand planes, or breathing new life into vintage tools, I am driven by the process of physical creation.
I don’t confine myself to a single medium. Instead, I combine traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering and digital sculpting to create objects that are intentional, tactile, and lasting.
